Yavo Yamim — Shaked Cohen
A dreamlike desert journey created in Unreal Engine for Shaked Cohen's song Yavo Yamim, moving from a red sunset into a field of flowers and night.
יבואו ימים (Yavo Yamim / Days Will Come) is a music video made for Israeli musician Shaked Cohen. The film places the song inside a slowly transforming digital landscape: red desert, unfamiliar vegetation, fields of flowers and a final passage into night.
Building the world
The environment was created and rendered in Unreal Engine. Rather than cutting between unrelated scenes, the camera travels through a single visual world whose light, plants and terrain gradually change with the emotional movement of the song.
Image and lyric
Hebrew lyrics appear inside the landscape as another spatial layer. Their scale, softness and timing allow the words to drift through the image without turning the film into a conventional lyric video.
Collaboration
Erez Cohen created the 3D visuals, animation and edit, and co-directed the music video with Ori Azov. The project extends Erez's real-time 3D practice into a linear cinematic format built around music, atmosphere and camera movement.
